Waalaikumussalam K, here is the list what I do each time I do ruqyah:
1. Tell the patient that I don’t know how to cure, I don’t know to read the person’s problem or anything else about the person, I can’t see Jinn, however, once the patient is possessed I do communicate with the jinn through the patient. The cure is strictly from Allah swt.
2. Take a wudu and have the patient to take wudu as well.
3. The patient sit facing the kiblat and I try to sit as close as possible to the patient’s ears so the patient can hear me better. Some time when there is definitely jinn presence, the patient would put his/her hands on both ears and when we try to remove both hands was really difficult because the strength is not the patient’s
4. I recite verses of Qur’an on the person and nothing else. Some time before even I started the patient already showing me the sign of jinn presence from the body language or face expression and sometime even after two hours even it is confirmed there is jinn presence in the body, there is no reaction on the patient, subhanallah.
5. What I like the most is if the patient possessed and the jinn answer my questions. Even though we are not supposed to believe to what the jinn is saying, at least we can get the idea to proceed. If the jinn is not muslim, I lecture about Allah etc and encourage them to take shahadat with me then ask them to leave the patient body and not to return.

The first 31 years of our marriage we went through lots of sacrificing which we didn’t know why. Alhamdulillah Allah swt kept us strong and sabar we now started to enjoy each other after forty years of marriage subhanallah. We live in the Bay Area (San Francisco, California, USA) since 1978. We lived in Queen, New York before we moved to California. I love, history, documentary and love reading Qur’an and haditz so I discovered about ruqyah from one of the haditz Bukhari Muslim books a few years ago before ruqyah practice back to exist. I am an Arabic descent, Xxxxxaa binti Salim bin Afiff, from Hadramout, Yaman. Since you are from Singapore, you may also know that there are many Arab in Singapore are the same Arabic descent from Yaman. My parent moved to Indonesia right before I was born. My older sister was born in Aden, Yaman then my parent moved and live in Saudi before they moved to Indonesia. My mother’s father, Syekh Xxxxxxxx Khaiyath Allahyarham, from Saudi so I have families in Saudi. InsyaAllah my son Abdullah and I are going for umroh arriving in Jeddah on the 7th but since I do have lots of families there so other than umroh, we want to take the opportunity visiting family as well so we will be very busy not sure if we can meet. My nephew, J Afiff, is currently studying in Madinah perhaps we can introduce you to him. I can’t promise but InsyaAllah I try to call you if I can help you more on this.
